Curriculum for CFFT College & Career Academy

Self Assessment, College Prep, & More

Our curriculum features elements to help students better understand themselves, learn about the college application process, prepare for the SATs, and beyond.

College Readiness, Career Exploration, & More

In addition, our program features elements to help students prepare for the college environment, learning about the ins and outs of being a college student, and helping to choose a major that would be beneficial in choosing a career.

The Center's Curriculum

Our concept is to give students an opportunity to work collaboratively in teams. Teamwork is essential not only in the work environment, but many college classes also require group work. Students will be separated into four teams of approximately 15, depending on student schedules and availability. Each team will meet with the instructors every other week, either on Tuesday or Wednesday. All class sessions will be held from 3:30pm – 6:30pm during the months of November through May. The schedule accommodates school exams and breaks.
